Summer Winter

This installation is made up of 119 raku-fired bowls each one on a metal shelf.  They are installed to create the form of a bowl - open form for Summer, closed form for Winter.  The bowls in Summer are more open in form, whereas in Winter they are more closed.  To create a sense of form dark glazed bowls are placed on the left side moving across to lighter coloured bowls on the right.

Summer:  7' high by 9.5' wide  Winter:7' high by 5.5' wide.
